In 1994, national coach Andi Seeli founded a mountain bike series (“Power Kids Cup”), which initially focused on promoting young talent. With Seeli's concept, which promoted the joy and skill of young people and children, the racing series took off — and — after the World Cup — developed into the most important racing series.
The “Swiss Bike Cup” has thus become an attractive platform that made the impressive and sustained international successes of Swiss cross-country riders possible in the first place. The success story of the “Swiss Bike Cup” will continue in the future: Exciting races with professional conditions for the elite and young talent (#championsoftomorrow) guarantee top-class sport.
Even more, because the event series also focuses on expanding popular sports for all bike enthusiasts and thus ensures the development of mountain bike sports at all levels.
